Andalib has experience of more than two decades in the diplomatic service of Bangladesh, working mostly in multilateral stations. His area of expertise includes trade and development, climate change issues, migration, LDC graduation, and South-South cooperation. He was Chair of the LDC Group in Geneva and New York, and worked as Chief Negotiator of Group of 77 on economic and financial issues on several occasions. He also had the opportunity to closely observe the often-complicated mechanism of European Union during his three-year tenure at the Bangladesh Embassy in Brussels.
