Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Kolkata celebrated the Historic Mujibnagar Day on 17 April 2023 with the National Flag raising followed by laying floral wreath at the bust of ‘Mujib Chiranjib’ at the Mission. A documentary marking this occasion was screened which was followed by reading out messages from the Hon’ble President and the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh. Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Kolkata in his remarks highlighted the exemplary leadership of Bangabandhu and enormous contribution of Mujibnagar Government in attaining the independence of Bangladesh. A special prayer was offered on this occasion.
